SLOUGH Town brought the curtain down on the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Redditch United at Arbour Park on Saturday.

The point means Slough finish fifth in the Southern Premier Division and will play Leamington away in the play-off semi-finals this Wednesday (7.45pm).

A minute of applause for Ugo Ehiogu took place before the game after the former England international passed away last week.

After a first half of few chances, Redditch took the lead on 63 minutes when Arjun Jung diverted the ball back across goal and substitute Luke Keen headed past Shaun Rowley.

Slough were awarded a penalty two minutes later after Chris Flood was bundled over in the area. The striker dusted himself down but saw his spot-kick saved by Bradley Cantlow.

The Rebels then had the ball in the back of the net from a free-kick but the referee had already blown for a foul by Flood.

The home side were given a lifeline in the third minute of time added on at the end of the match when Lewis Putman was tripped inside the box. Liam Enver-Marum took the penalty and levelled the scores at 1-1, sending the Redditch keeper the wrong way.
