SLOUGH Town have reached the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy this season after a 4-1 win away at Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday.

The Rebels are now unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions, winning the last four with 19 goals scored and conceding just three.

A goal from Matthew Lench, his seventh in his last three games and 11th this season, gave Slough a lead at the half-time interval in the second qualifying round tie.

Ryan Gondoh levelled the scores for Isthmian League North Division club Maldon & Tiptree three minutes after the break at the Wallace Binder Ground.

Man-of-the-match James Dobson then scored twice to give Slough a clear lead, before Lee Togwell added a fourth goal three minutes into time added on.

The reward is a third qualifying round tie away at Isthmian Premier Division club Hendon on Saturday, December 2 (3pm).

The Rebels turn their attention to the Southern League Cup and a second round tie away at Hayes & Yeading on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Slough return to action in the Southern Premier Division when Weymouth are the visitors to Arbour Park this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham are still searching for a first home win in the Hellenic Premier Division this season after a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Fairford Town on Saturday.

Dan Bailey scored twice for Fairford at The Gore while Aaron Dainton was also on target.

The result leaves Burnham in 17th position in the league table ahead of a trip to ninth-placed Brackley Town Saints this Saturday (3pm).

Chalvey Sports remain unbeaten in Division Two East this season following their 1-1 draw with Abingdon Town Development at Arbour Park on Saturday.

Bryan Taylor scored the goal for Chalvey and the point leaves the defending champions third in the league table, two points behind leaders Abingdon Town but with two matches in hand.

Chalvey travel to Division One East club Milton United in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup this Tuesday (7.45pm).
