SLOUGH Town saw their four-match unbeaten streak in the Southern Premier Division come to an end after a 1-0 defeat at Kings Lynn Town on Tuesday.

It is the first time The Rebels have been beaten since February 10 but they remain in the play-off positions and with games in hand on the sides above them.

Tom Ward scored the only goal of the game after 65 minutes and, in the aftermath of the goal being scored, Slough midfielder Matt Lench was shown a second yellow card for dissent.

The Rebels are away at sixth-from-bottom Bishops Stortford this Saturday (3pm), before a trip to St Ives Town next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Maidenhead United secured a point in the National League after a 1-1 draw with Boreham Wood at Broughinge Road.

A goal from Morgan Ferrier gave Boreham Wood the lead inside four minutes but Moses Ademola equalised for United after 28 minutes.

The draw leaves Maidenhead in 13th position in the league table ahead of a visit to York Road from fifth-from-bottom Barrow this Saturday (3pm).

Virginia Water are out of the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup after a 3-1 quarter-final defeat against Binfield at Stag Meadow.

A goal from Adam McNamara gave The Waters the lead on 27 minutes, but Ian Davies equalised for the visitors less than two minutes later.

Carlo Santoro put Binfield ahead with a goal on 82 minutes before Davies netted his second of the tie three minutes from the final whistle.

Virginia Water return to action in Hellenic Division One East with a visit to Stag Meadow from Holyport this Saturday (3pm).

On Monday, Windsor exited the Floodlit Cup after a 3-1 third round defeat at Thatcham.

Two goals in the first-half from Shane Cooper-Clarke plus a strike by Jemel Johnson gave Thatcham a clear lead heading into the break at Waterside Park.

Windsor pulled a goal back through substitute Barry Hayles in the final minute of normal time.

Windsor return to action in the Hellenic Premier Division with a trip to fifth-from-bottom Fairford Town this Saturday (3pm).
