SLOUGH Town twice recovered from falling behind to draw 2-2 with Bishops Stortford at Woodside Park on Saturday.

The Southern Premier Division fixture was given the go-ahead after a 10am pitch inspection due to low temperatures and with snow in the forecast.

Both sides hit the woodwork in a goalless first half and Slough suffered a blow when in-form striker Chris Flood was forced off with injury and replaced by Perry Coles.

A goal from Alfie Mason put Bishops Stortford in front on 53 minutes, before Coles struck the post in his bid for an equaliser.

Ben Harris returned from injury to the Rebels side as a sub and the striker equalised with his fourth goal of the season after 76 minutes.

The home side regained the lead when Darren Foxley scored from outside the box with eight minutes left on the clock.

Slough were not behind for long however as Coles broke the offside trap and fired in via a post on 88 minutes to secure a point.

The draw means Slough remain in fifth position in the league table ahead of a trip to third-from-bottom St Ives Town this Tuesday (7.45pm), before a trip to Basingstoke Town next Saturday.

Burnham made progress in the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup following a 7-4 win after extra time at Cirencester Town Development.

The quarter-finals tie at The Corinium Stadium finished 3-3 before The Blues secured their progress in the additional 30-minutes period.

Marcus Mealing bagged a hat-trick for the higher-league club plus there were goals from Dan Wilson, Jack Byerley, Ollie Jones and Matty Sinclair.

Burnham return to action in the Premier Division with a trip to Tuffley Rovers on Saturday, March 31.

Chalvey Sports remain unbeaten at Arbour Park in Division Two East after a 7-0 win against Stockenchurch to keep them in third position in the table.

Two goals from captain Ryan Hazell, plus strikes from Bryan Taylor and Jason Marney gave The Stabmonks a clear lead at the half-time interval.

Marney and Taylor both scored again after the break, while Hazell added another to complete his hat-trick in his side's second biggest win of the season.

Chalvey welcome third-from-bottom Chalfont Wasps Reserves to Arbour Park this Tuesday (7.45pm), before a trip to Virginia Water Reserves next Saturday (3pm).
