SLOUGH Town's and Burnham's festive football fixtures were ruined by the weather.

Beaconsfield SYCOB were due to host teh Rebels on Boxing Day but it was postponed due to ice in the surrounding area, the car park mainly and then Slough's home game with Marlow on saturday was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Burnham suffered a similar fate on Boxing Day at Marlow and the same with their scheduled clash against the Rams on Saturday.

The only games to take place in the Southern League Division One Midlands at the weekend were AFC Sudbury beating Chesham United 4-1 and Bury Town continued to impress with a 3-0 triumph at Soham Town Rangers.
