Steve Bateman has added to his squad.
STEVE Bateman has confirmed the signings of James Duncan and Chris Seeby for Slough Town.
Duncan has been on loan at Margate in the Ryman Premier League from Beaconsfield SYCOB and is a no-nonsense central midfielder and Seeby has experience from the Conference with St Albans City and can play at the back or as a holding midfield man.
Bateman told the Observer on Friday: "James has signed, we have it confirmed by the Southern League and will be in the squad for Saturday and I've signed another lad as well - Chris Seeby.
"He's a 6ft 3 central-defender, right-back or holding midfielder. Chris has joined us from Northwood, prior to that he's a lad I've tracked for a while.
"He's played the best part of 200 games for St Albans City in the Conference and Conference South, missed a bit of football because of a cruciate injury but has been back playing for a year now."
The Slough supremo added: "Both James and Chris were lads I was looking at earlier in the season. Here we are now at the final push and I'm pleased to get them on board.
"Not only for the immediate future but long term as well. They are both 25, of a good age with a lot of experience but still want to achieve things and that is what I want."
