Folk-pop princess Emmy The Great is coming to Reading as part of a series of warm-up dates before her tour with Noah And The Whale, with a date at Sub89 on Friday, March 9.
The London-based singer-songwriter's bittersweet melodies blend with her forthright lyrics and stark vocals, and live, the more epic touches to her music really come to the fore.
Emmy is using local supports for this tour, and at Sub89 it's Guide faves, alt country-folksters, Quiet Quiet Band, on the bill.
