OXJAM is preparing to takeover Reading with the sounds of the local music scene in a bid to raise £8,000 for charity.
On Saturday, October 20, music-mad Oxfam volunteers will be setting up gigs in six Reading venues - showcasing the best in emerging talent across genres.
What's more, X Factor's Danyl Johnson will help launch Oxjam Reading Takeover, at a party on Saturday, at 7.30pm at the Jazz Cafe, in Madejski Stadium alongside local folk songstress Megan Henwood. FIVE Star are the latest addition to Henley's Rewind Festival. Featuring BBC's The Voice UK contestant Deniece Pearson, the band were hailed as Britain's answer to the Jackson Five in the 80s and now they're set to return to the stage at the three-day festival from August 17-19.
