SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS IN PARTS OF PINNER FOR THE PINNER PANTOMIME EVENING

SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS IN PARTS OF PINNER FOR THE PINNER PANTOMIME EVENING
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a traffic order under the provisions of section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that would introduce temporary traffic restrictions to allow an annual event known as the Pinner Pantomime to take place.
The general effect of the order would be to:-
1. Introduce temporary restrictions between 14:00hrs and 22:00hrs on 28th November 2019;

(a) closing to all traffic;

(i) High Street, Pinner;

(ii) Chapel Lane, between its junctions with Bridge Street and the car park entrance.

(b) prohibiting the waiting of vehicles between 14:00hrs and 22:00hrs in;

Bridge Street,
(i) the south-west side, between a point opposite the north­western wall of No. 55 Bridge Street and a point opposite the south-eastern wall of No. 47 Bridge Street.

(ii) the designated loading bay, on the south-west side, between a point 19.00 metres south of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 19 and 21 Bridge Street and a point 12.00 metres south of that point.

2. The provisions of the order will not have effect unless all the signs provided in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 are displayed.

3. Diversion routes for the closure of High Street, Pinner will be either:-

(a) via Church Lane, Nower Hill, Marsh Road to Bridge Street, or;

(b) via Paines Lane, Leighton Avenue and Love Lane to Bridge Street.
