BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Pyebush Lane, Beaconsfield in the Parish of Beaconsfield CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Pyebush Lane for approximately 525m. The closure is required whilst Blaze Commercial connecting a new rising main to an existing pumping station works take place commencing on 21 February 2022. The road will be closed with access to residents. The company will liaise with residents on a daily basis for access arrangements with a traffic marshal to walk vehicle>s through the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. Dated 11 February 2022

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Bridleway No. 51, Cholesbury-cum-St Leonards) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No. 51, Cholesbury-cum-St Leonards, located off Vale Road, near The Black Horse Inn Pub, for 200m. The closure is required whilst surface repair works take place making the Bridleway surface safe and accessible and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 11 February 2022 and will take approximately 6 months to complete. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The Order will come into operation on 11 February 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Blackwell Hall Lane, Ley Hill in the Parish of Latimer and Ley Hill CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Blackwell Hall Lane for approximately 144m. Alternative route: Old School Hill, Horse Hill, Hockley Bottom, Church Lane, Codmore Wood Lane, Blackwell Hall Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst UKPN cabling works take place commencing on 14 February 2022. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Crowbrook Road, Askett in the Parish of Princes Risborough CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Crowbrook Road for approximately 120m. Alternative route: Askett Village Lane, Aylesbury Road, Mill Lane, Crowbrook Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Bethmar on behalf of Swish Fibre ducting works in the carriageway works take place commencing on 14 February 2022. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. These works are part of a project and only one road will be open at once. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Market Square in the Parish of Chesham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Market Square for approximately 140m. The closure is required whilst Market Square currently only allows access for businesses -this TTRO would restrict business access to Market Square and therefore fully 'pedestrianise' it. This would free up more space for businesses to use - many will need to do so in line with instruction/guidance from the government re. Covid-19. A fully 'pedestrianised' Market Square would allow businesses to expand seating areas outdoors. Management of the closure/ restriction would fall to Chesham Town Council. This will include an exemption for events agreed by Chesham Town Council take place commencing on 21 February 2022. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
