One of Nashville’s most talented new singer/songwriters Sam Lewis performs at Norden Farm on Wednesday 28 October at 8pm. Tickets are £7 in advance, £8 on the door.
Sam released his first album just three years ago, and his second, Waiting On You, earlier this year. Growing up, he was inspired by Nirvana and Bob Dylan, and began writing and performing his own songs as a teenager.
After moving to Nashville, he was spotted at an open mic night, and recorded his first session, recording six songs in just one day, which would become part of his debut album. Since then, Sam has been honing his craft performing as both a solo artist and with bands all over America, as well as signing a record deal.
Sam is influenced by likes of Hank Williams, Fred Eaglesmith and John Prine, bringing different elements of American music together to create his own sound. Compelling songs, stirring melodies and soulful sounds combine with Sam’s lived in vocals on ballads and foot stomping tracks alike, as he pieces together stories that people want to hear.
Norden Farm is delighted to host this up and coming talented new artist from one of the most musical cities in the world. Don’t miss this chance to see him up close and personal in the intimate Studio space, as part of just a handful of UK dates.
