THE council has apologised for the only public toilet at Slough Bus Station being out of order due to a broken water pump.
A spokesman for Slough Borough Council said its contractor is waiting for a new part before it can be fixed and said it will be 'up and running as soon as we can’.
It follows complaints by bus users, who are having to walk to The Queensmere Shopping Centre instead. Toilets at the station’s café have been open for public use but the council said after issues with vandalism and misuse of the toilet the owners have had to turn people away.
