A BINGO hall was the target of an armed robbery and a burglary – both taking place just three days apart.

Two armed men , one armed with firearm and one with a knife, entered Gala Bingo Slough in Bath Road on Thursday, November 5, at around 7.45pm, while customers were in the venue.

They threatened staff members before stealing cash from the till. They then made off in a blue car being driven by a third person.

The first man is black, of athletic build, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft, with a tattoo on his left cheek. He was wearing a balaclava.

The second man is about 5ft4ins to 5ft6ins and of average build. He was also wearing a balaclava.

A spokeswoman from Gala Bingo reported that no one was injured and no customers were involved.

Leoni Macky Emerson commented on The Observer’s Facebook page: “We were there and they were so good and didn’t even let on this had happened while we were playing until the police came.

“The staff were so professional and good at reassuring everyone.”

The spokeswoman said: “We are proud of our staff and management, their approach resulted in no impact on any of our customers who were in the club at the time.”

Following this, at 3.55am on Sunday morning, the club was broken into again while unoccupied. Bottles of alcohol were taken.
