POLICE are appealing for information after a cyclist was attacked.
A 40-year-old man was cycling between the alleyway of Minnister Way and St Marys Road, in Slough, at around 8.30pm on Friday, when he was approached by a group of black men.
The men demanded the bicycle from the victim before pushing him from the bike, and punching and kicking him while he was on the floor.
Nothing was stolen, however the victim suffered a fractured cheek bone, bruises and cuts to his face. He attended Wexham Park Hospital and has since been discharged.
Investigating officer Jagdip Sekhon, of Local CID, based at Slough police station said: “The victim has been left shocked and traumatised by this incident. If you have any information please contact me via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
