A magical but dangerous world of vampires, witches and trolls is coming to Colnbrook Village Hall later this July.
The village's drama group CAST (Colnbrook Amateur Stage Theatre) is presenting an adaptation of Terry Pratchett's famous fantasy novel Carpe Jugulum.
This witty black comedy tells what happens when a pompous king decides to invite vampires from a neighbouring kingdom to his daughter's naming ceremony.
Unfortunately the vampires decide to make themselves at home, helping themselves to the blood of a passing highwayman on the way.
Soon the whole kingdom is in peril and it is left to three witches - Agnes Nitt, Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax - to take on the evil bloodsucking family.
Fans of Terry Pratchett will not be surprised to hear that there are plenty of laughs alongside the thrills.
Carpe Jugulum can be seen at Colnbrook Village Hall, Vicarage Way, Colnbrook from Wednesday, July 13 to Saturday, July 16 at 7.45pm.
Tickets are available now at £9 adults, £7 concessions.
