A SECOND man who died in hospital following a double stabbing in Slough has been formally identified.
David Yokota, 39, of Robin Hood Close, Cippenham, was found with life-threatening injuries in Lower Cippenham Lane on Friday, February 10.
He was taken to hospital, and further police enquiries lead them to find 59-year-old Dennis Kelly stabbed to death at a property in Lewins Way, Cippenham.
Mr Yokota died in hospital under police supervision on Sunday, February 12.
A post-mortem examination on Thursday was inconclusive.
Only the two men are believed to have been involved in the double stabbing.
A close friend of Mr Yokota said: “I’m gutted. Dave was a very happy-go-lucky man.”
Investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Ailsa Kent of the Major Crime unit, said: “I would like to thank the community for their understanding and patience while officers were carrying out enquiries in relation to the investigation.”
The investigation is continuing and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
