Two thieves have been caught on camera wheeling a £3,000 quad bike away from a property in Wraysbury.

Darren Laverty, 50, captured the footage at his home on Welley Road at around 2.30am on Wednesday morning. The black and white pictures show two people apparently pushing the quad bike on the drive of the property before taking off with it down the street.

Mr Laverty, said: “One of our gates had an electrical problem and was left open. They strolled right in with halogen lights as if they weren’t bothered. “They then spent half an hour messing around until they managed to get the bike out from being boxed in by our cars. They pushed it off down Welley Road towards the school. Obviously they covered their faces with hoods and scarves.”

The incident has since been reported to the police.
