Three cars were in collision on the M4 near Slough on Thursday morning.
The incident happened between Langley and Slough Central, junctions 5-6, on the westbound carriageway around 9.29am. One of the vehicles sparked into flames.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley were sent to the scene.
Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and made the vehicle safe.
Today Thames Valley Police said that the crash only caused damage to the vehicles and no one was injured.
