A dwelling on Blandford Road South, Slough, caught alight at 12:35 on Friday morning.
Three fire engines from Langley fire station, two from Slough, and a multi-role vehicle from Maidenhead attended the fire, and were there for over two hours dampening the blaze.
One firefighter said: "It was quite an intense fire. The cause is still be investigated."
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
