A SCHOOL has announced its new headteacher.
Dean Richards will take over Claires Court Junior Boys in September 2018, the school said.
He will take over from existing head Justin Spanswick when he moves to a corporate role within the School.
Mr Richards has worked in a junior schools for the past 14 years, most recently as a deputy head at Hampton Pre-Prep and Prep School.
On his appointment, he said: “Education from the early years to Year six is a fantastic opportunity to develop a love and joy of learning. I am very excited and immensely proud to be offered the opportunity to develop my career and my own learning at Claires Court.
“My tour by the Year 6 pupils demonstrated what kind and thoughtful boys they are. I am looking forward to working in, and supporting this ethos whilst looking for chances to enhance our provision with a common sense approach.”
James Wilding, academic principal added: “Dean brings great additional experience of leadership at junior school level, with much experience of working within a larger whole school community.”
