A WOMAN has died following a motorcycle crash.

The crash happened on Langley Park Road, Iver, yesterday (Monday), near the junction with Lossie Drive at 2.10pm. A motorcyclist, a 20-year-old male riding a blue Yamaha MT-07, collided with a pedestrian, a 46-year-old woman.

The pedestrian died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries, and was taken to hospital, where he is currently in a stable condition.

The road between the Red Lion Pub and Langley Station was closed for around three hours as the police and the air ambulance attended the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash to come forward, as they launch an investigation into the incident.

The investigating officer, PC Katy Kent, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We are carrying out an investigation into this incident, and I would like to speak to anyone who saw either the motorcycle or the pedestrian involved prior to the collision.
