NORMAL service is set to be resumed at Slough Railway Station after train services were cancelled this afternoon, Tuesday, into London.
An obstruction in the overhead electric wires from around 4pm at Slough left rail users waiting on the platforms – and at stations along the route into London.
Great Western Railway (GWR) said the stopping services from Slough into London had been worst hit – but trains were operating with only minimal disruption in the opposite direction into Reading.
The problem has now been rectified, GWR said around 5.45pm, and services should begin to run as normal.
