A flickering road sign that had had its top knocked off on the 'five points' roundabout in Uxbridge Road, Slough has to be 'put out' by firefighters yesterday.
The 1m high sign lost its top and the light underneath kept flickeing on and off until firefighters used a fire extinguisher filled with carbon dioxide to make it safe.
The team went to the scene at 3.25pm.
