Disabled young visitors had an awesome day at Windsor’s Legoland theme park in Winkfield Road - thanks to Wizzybug wheelchairs.
The powered chairs are specially designed for children under five who cannot walk and were loaned by the charity Designability. Another charity Merlin’s Magic Wand had provided the tickets for the theme park.
Using their special the chairs the children were able to visited Miniland, ride on the DUPLO® train, marvel at the Pirates of Skeleton Bay live show and experience the oasis of calm in the Enchanted Forest.
Parents and toddlers alike were overjoyed with their day out and the use of the Wizzybugs.
Anna-Marina Dearsley, parent to Emerson, commented: “Emerson is still buzzing from his fab day out yesterday. His favourite part of the day was going on the Dragon’s Apprentice mini-rollercoaster. He tackled the day with confidence and navigated like a professional driver.”
