A SPECIAL guest will be paying a visit to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Old Windsor next weekend.

Santa Claus will be coming on Saturday, December 8 from 10am to 4pm, giving dog owners the chance to have a festive photoshoot with their four legged family members.

Professional 6”x 9” prints of your dog and Father Christmas will be available to purchase on the day starting from just £12. Or, if owners fancy something a little different, photos will be available to have in keyrings, fridge magnets, and even hanging snowflakes.

While families and dogs wait their turn to give Santa their Christmas wish list, there will be a range of hot drinks and treats for both humans and dogs to enjoy. Humans will also have the chance to take part in a raffle and tombola and all dogs will receive a goody bag full of pre-Christmas treats.

Battersea Old Windsor Centre Manager, Kaye Mughal, says: “It’s not just Battersea dogs who can come to Santa Paws - we’d invite all dogs and their families to come down for some festive fun and take part in the ultimate Christmas photoshoot.

“All profits raised at Santa Paws will go towards looking after the many dogs and cats who will be spending their Christmas at Battersea this year. We expect to have around 80 dogs with us over the festive period, and by people coming to take part in Santa Paws, they’re helping us make their Christmas a little better.”

Due to ongoing building work at Battersea Old Windsor, parking spaces may be limited. Anyone attending Santa Paws is advised to allow a little extra time for their visit.

If you can’t make it to Santa Paws this year, but would like to bring a Yule-time smile to a Battersea dog or cat’s face, you can make a donation online by visiting www.battersea.org.uk.
