THE team behind a new care home in Windsor organised a Santa Dash to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Team members at Care UK’s Mountbatten Grange home on Helston Lane, alongside representatives from Care UK and neighbouring care home Clara Court, sported their best Christmas outfits for a four-kilometre race round the area. They raised £115 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Home manager at Mountbatten Grange Saad Baig, said: “We really enjoyed fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society. The organisation supports a cause that is close to our hearts here at Mountbatten Grange, as many of the residents are living with dementia. It was brilliant to see so many team members literally racing to make a difference."
The new care home features 72 bedrooms.
