The Windsor Organ Trust is celebrating half a century entertaining lovers of the legendary instrument, which has featured in every sort of music from sacred to chart topping.
The Trust will be hosting a celebratory 50th anniversary cinema organ music show on Sunday at 2.30pm.
The star player will be Len Rawle MBE, a regular on the long running Radio 2 show The Organist Entertains.
He was a regular player at the Granada, Slough and had a hand in rescuing and preserving organs from 40 cinemas when they closed, including the mighty Wurlitzer at the Empire, Leicester Square.
He will be playing Old Windsor's own organ - which once graced the ABC Cinema in Old Kent Road - when he performs at Sunday's concert in the Memorial Hall, Straight Road.
It is believed to be the last working cinema organ in a public hall in Berkshire.
Admission is £5 including refreshments in the interval.
