A VOLUNTEER run group in South Bucks has broken its all-time sales record having sold 694 out of 717 tickets for its Beauty & The Beast pantomime.
"It's fantastic that more people are falling in love with panto and trying out ‘amdram’ theatre” said Lucy Campling, co-director of the show.
Miss Campling, from Iver Heath said: “We are buzzing that for the first time we are performing a script written by one of our members!"
Lee Hall, author of this year's pantomime has been a member of the Iver Heath Drama Club for 10 years.
The club is funded through membership, tickets sales and grants from Ivers Parish Council and nearby Pinewood Studios.
It is based at Iver Heath Village Hall and celebrated its 70th birthday in October with a fundraising quiz night.
Beauty and the Beast runs from tomorrow (Saturday) until Saturday, February 2 - with tickets only left for the 1pm show on February 2.
They are available from ticketsource.co.uk/ihdc
