BRAINIAC Day came to Eton End School in Datchet when it hosted another of its successful 'Able, More Able and Talented' initiative events.
The team at the school decided on the 'brainiac' moniker this time round - as pupils from four different school were welcomed to join in the fun.
The day was centred on a carousel of activities, all thought provoking and challenging. The children from the five schools worked in partnership; they tackled mathematical, collaborative and linguistic activities with a ‘have a go’ attitude and smile.
Zoe Logan, head of nursery and pre prep who organised the day said: “It was wonderful to see the children engage fully with the idea of ‘thinking critically’ and a ‘have a go’ attitude. It was a positive learning experience for all involved."
The guest schools were Colnbrook C of E Primary School, Datchet St Mary’s C of E Primary Academy, Dropmore First School, Slough and Eton Porny First School.
