A SERIES of driving offences were dealt with by police in Reading on Thursday.
Thames Valley Police's Roads Policing Unit reported a number of incidents on social media.
The first happened in Whitley and involved someone driving in a car they did not own, without insurance.
The driver was also spotted using a mobile phone as officers drove passed.
The second incident resulted in the owner of a Mini Cooper being slapped with a £100 fine for driving with a small and illegal number plate in Reading.
Their insurance company were contacted and made aware of a number of undeclared modifications, as well as driving convictions.
In Woodley, officers found a Ford Fiesta being driven with no insurance and the driver was found to have an expired provisional licence.
They had recently finished a driving ban for accumulating points and the vehicle was seized.
The final incident involved a Mazda travelling at excessive speed out of a junction.
The driver was issued with a ticket for careless driving and given a Section 59 warning for anti-social driving.
