A VISUALLY-impaired teenager has received a glowing letter from the Prime Minister.
Maleeka Abbas, from Maidenhead, has her own blog where she shares her inspiring experiences.
The 13-year-old, who has been blind since she was born, is supported by Berkshire Vision.
She said: "I have lived my whole little life with my challenge, and honestly I don’t see it as a burden or a negative, I see blindness as just a better and new way to see the world."
Theresa May sent a letter to the schoolgirl, saying she 'sets a marvellous example' and she has a brilliant future ahead of her.
The Prime Minister added: "I understand that you are a very bright and intelligent young girl and that your blog and positive attitude have already made a difference to several people around you."
