Rare Jimi Hendrix autographs were sold last month at auction after they were discovered at a Maidenhead home.
The autographs were originally obtained in 1968, when the vendor braved the unpredictability of the English weather and waited outside the Adelphi Theatre in Slough. Also billing at the concert were Englebert Humperdinck, the Walker Brothers, Mitch Michell and Noel Redding.
Collectors battled it out for the piece on the day, with two bidders emerging. Eventually, a bid of £5000 won the memorabilia, with the gavel falling to a collector based in New York.
Hendrix passed away tragically at the age of 27, meaning collectables and memorabilia displaying his signatures rarely come on the market.
