Firefighters from Langley and Slough battled a fire in a house at Park Avenue, Wraysbury on Monday evening.
The call came through at 6.20pm and the crews arrived to find the fire in the roof of the two storey building. One officer and an aerial ladder platform from London Fire Brigade were also sent to the scene.
Six firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a jet to tackle the blaze. Overall, they were on the scene for around two and a half hours.
The Fire Investigation Officer attended the scene although it is believed the fire started inside the chimney.
