Readers of the Bucks Free Press have submitted photos of bad parking in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.

This follows the news that the government launched a national inquiry into the 'real problem' on our roads.

The government's transport committee said that there has been a 'lack of progress on the issue'.

Bucks Free Press:

The issue is clearly a prevalent one across Bucks, with readers submitting photos showing the widespread scale of pavement parking in Bucks, which could be banned after the inquiry as it is in London.

Locations submitted by readers include Old Kiln Road in Flackwell Heath, Marlow Road near Wycombe High School and Glade Road in Marlow.

One resident who submitted pictures told the Bucks Free Press: "You can’t even walk on the pavements on my cul-de-sac.

"One of the residents has started selling cars and now we have a car park.

"My wife came very close to having a head of crash with another car coming around this corner, neither of them saw each other due to the car on the corner.

"I spoke to the council who told me to phone the police which I did. They asked the man to move the car, he just parked one of his other cars there instead."
