Four burglars forced their way into an Iver home before dragging a victim from his bed on Wednesday evening.

Four men, armed with a knife, a metal pole and a stick, broke into the property in Wood Lane at around 9.40pm on Wednesday (16/5).

The family of three were threatened before the father was dragged out of his bed. The burglars then ransacked the property and left the scene with a Rolex watch, a diamond ring, mobile phones and cash.

All of the burglars are male. The first is white, about 5ft 1ins – 2ins of a medium build with an eastern European wearing a black mask. The second is about 5ft 2ins – 3ins of a medium build. He was wearing a black mask.

The third burglar is about 5ft 8ins – 9ins and of a small build. He was wearing a brown, woollen mask. The fourth is white, about 5ft 8ins – 9ins of a small build. He was also wearing a brown, woollen mask.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Luke Pratt said: “This is a shocking offence on a family in their own home, where they should feel safe.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information about the offence to contact the force as soon as possible.
