A 22-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder – as a 21-year-old man fights for his life in hospital after reports of a fight in the car park of KFC in Slough.

Yasir Mohammed, of Monksfield Way, Slough, was charged with one count of Section 18 wounding with intent, and one count of violent disorder on Wednesday.

It comes after police were called out to the car park, in Farnham Road, on Tuesday (May 14) to reports of a brawl that resulted in the 21-year-old suffering a head injury.

Police said he is still in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Mohammed appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court yesterday (May 16) and was remanded into custody.

A 23-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on Tuesday and has been released on police bail.

A 26-year-old woman from Slough, and two men aged 18 and 24 from Slough, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday have been released on police bail.

A 21-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday (Thursday) and is in police custody.

A 20-year-old man from Slough who had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday has been released with no further action.
