A burst water main has flooded a house in Upton Court Road, Slough.
Firefighters were called to the scene soon after 2am this morning, where they were joined a team from Thames Water who worked until 5.45am to do the necessary repair work while police closed the road.
A spokesman for Thames Water said: "We’re sorry for anyone impacted by a burst to a six-inch diameter pipe this morning. We responded promptly and within a few hours had installed new piping.
"One property was flooded and our loss adjusters are working with the owner."
The flooding affected the ground floor of the house, before firefighters sealed the front of the premises to limit further damage.
Water supply in the area was not affected.
