It is Colnfest time again as the village of Colnbrook holds its annual festival behind the village church next weekend.

Colnfest 19 starts at noon on the Glebe Lands behind St Thomas' Church, Vicarage Way.

Among the acts performing will be the Mighty Melody Invaders - a children's band from Western House Academy, Slough, the NASCA rock band which is based in Colnbrook and Fred the Dust Man - another village resident who was once a Butlins redcoat and is now a popular children's entertainer.

There is also a mystery act called Bees - involving men dressed as bee keepers that is going to surprise everybody. Come along and find out how.

Donkey rides, children's games, stallsa bar and a tombola are also promised.

There is plenty more happening and visitors are invited to arrive early, bring their dancing shoes, a rug or folding chair and spend the whole afternoon.

There is a £1 charge for a lucky draw entrance ticket, children under 12 free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
