A man from Slough has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent after a man was found with stab wounds. 

Charles Dowell,  34 of Beechwood Gardens, was charged today (July 7) with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent after he was arrested yesterday.

The charge is in connection with an incident yesterday (July 6) in Albert Street, Slough, when a man was found with stab wounds.

The man, in his twenties, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Dowell has been remanded in custody and is due at Slough Magistrates Court tomorrow (July 8).
