A Wycombe young people’s charity will be joining a cross-council debate to discuss the importance of collaboration when the new unitary Buckinghamshire Council is formed next year.

Action4Youth will be representing young people from across Buckinghamshire at the event, which will debate a number of key issues that need to be addressed when the new unitary authority is opened.

The charity have also prepared a short film which will be played during the event, with views from the next generation about topics which impact them – setting the scene for future plans.

Jenifer Cameron, Chief Executive of Action4Youth, said: “I am looking forward to taking part in this years’ debate and to leading the discussion on how we can support one another and move forward together to ensure a brighter and more prosperous future for Buckinghamshire, highlighting the crucial part the third sector plays in communities and how much can be achieved if the council and the sector work together."
