A CONSULTATION has opened for residents to decide the future of the playground in Hervines Park in Amersham.
Amersham town council have proposed making changes to the layout offering visitors the chance to nominate new equipment which would encourage more visits to the playground.
Amongst the suggestions listed on the consultation for new equipment, the council have proposed installing outdoor gym equipment, a climbing frame, EasyAccess roundabout, a venture trail and more swings.
Parents and guardians are also asked whether they would be willing to join a steering group to help implement the improvements to the playground.
Last week, a concerned child was worried the nearby train track was dangerous for children and pets.
Eleven-year-old Olivia Pearce said that the fence near the park was unsafe, given the large gap underneath.
