Prized pianist Yazdi Madon
A TALENTED young pianist from Amersham won a prestigious musical prize.
Eleven-year-old Yazdi Madon was crowned the 2019-19 Rotary Musician of the Year after competing against eight other talented young musicians from the UK.
Yazdi was entered and supported by the Amersham Rotary Club throughout the three stages of the competition.
The club welcomed Yazdi on Wednesday to receive his prize and play a rendition of ‘The Lark’ for members.
