Volunteers are needed this evening to help unload 100 wheelchairs arriving at the Masjid Al-Jannah mosque in Stoke Road, Slough at 7pm.
The wheelchairs are bound for Syria where the war has left many people wounded or disabled.
The mosque is working with Nessa Foundation, Hyderabad Association and Aid Convoy to send a 40 foot container of 400 wheelchairs to Syria.
The 100 wheelchairs will be arriving from Heston tonight.
Just turn up and your help will be much appreciated.
Alternatively you can donate to the wheelchair appeal - Sri-Lanka Muslim Association (UK) - account 12444976, sort code 40-42-08. Ref: WheelChair2019
