Final preparations are underway for the annual obstacle ride in the Great Park organised by Windsor Lions.
Entries are now closed with over 800 riders clamouring to saddle up on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8 for the big event organised by the community services group.
Funds raised from the event will go to local charities and riding-based charities - also to fund much of the work carried out in the local community by Windsor Lions.
Windsor Lions was established in 1961 and have raised funds in the region of £2m by organising events that include charity auctions, golf days, quiz nights, race/casino evenings, marathon rows on the Thames, swimathons and of course the charity horse ride.
