Fire crews from Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor and Langley have been battling a blaze at Ray Mill Road West, Maidenhead since 12.30pm this afternoon.
The fire is believed to have started in a scrapyard and involved about 300 tyres and two shipping containers sending plumes of smoke across a wide area.
It was brought under control but firefighters are expected to remain on site this evening with traffic advised to avoid the area as Ray Mill Road West remains closed.
