A request for directions turned into something more sinister when a woman was approached in Wraysbury.

Now police have issued an E-fit image of a man who approached a woman in her 20s in Coppermill Road at about 6.30pm on Tuesday, April 30. He asked for directions, then tried to kiss her, took hold of her hand and stroked her hair. She was frightened and ran away.

The offender is described as a white man, in his late twenties, around 6ft tall with a slim build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and spoke with an Eastern European accent.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Davis, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “We are releasing an E-Fit of the offender in the hope that someone may recognise him.

“This happened in the early evening at a time when people may have seen what happened.
