MP STEVE Baker has chosen the cutest pet in Wycombe - and went to meet the fabulous feline to present her with a prize.
The Wycombe MP, in conjunction with the Bucks Free Press, launched a competition to find the best looking pet in the area - and readers responded in their droves with dozens of photos submitted of perfect pooches, cute kitties and beautiful bunnies.
And after hours of deliberation, Mr Baker made the tough decision - and chose Penny the cat, owned by Tanya and Jake Todd.
The MP presented Penny with a laser toy to keep her entertained and a bottle of House of Commons wine for Jake.
Mr Baker said “Thank you to everyone who entered. There are many cute pets living in Wycombe and it was very hard to choose, but Penny is a worthy winner.”
The competition was launched to highlight a new bill to give tougher prison sentences for the worst animal abusers.
