South Western Railway is offering free travel this Remembrance Sunday to members of the armed forces, veterans and cadets.
The company which runs the Windsor to Waterloo route via Datchet, Wraysbury and Staines wants to make it easier to get to memorial events including the Cenotaph in London.
Personnel will need to be in uniform or able to show an identification card with their branch of the military stated on it to qualify for free travel.
Members of the cadet forces in uniform and veterans with valid ID such as MoD Veteran's Badges are all covered.
Peter Williams, commercial director for South Western Railway said: "We wanted to honour the armed forces community with this offer of free travel as many of our colleagues come from a service background.
"We are grateful for the sacrifice that so many men and women have made over the years so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today."
