Youngsters visiting Santa's grotto at Slough's Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre will find themselves transformed part of a real festive show.

Ticket holders will enter through a red velvet roped entrance and have the chance to marvel at the Christmas Around the World exhibit, before travelling through the 'portal of believability' and meeting Santa.

Once inside, families are encouraged to take their own pictures for free. Children can tell Santa what they would love for Christmas before leaving with a premium gift tailored to their age group.

Chris Shaw, Centre Manager at Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre, said: “We are excited to unveil this fantastic new grotto which is bigger and better than ever before. We will also be hosting choirs, music and pantomime characters throughout the festive season and encourage local people to follow us on Facebook for all the latest news.”

The grotto will be open on various dates right up until Christmas Eve. It situated in the centre by the Superdrug store. For tickets and more information, shoppers can visit http://www.queensmereobservatory.co.uk/events
