THIS year the Slough Observer have conducted a study of the most dangerous streets in Slough according to police statistics.
The High Street, Slough Station and William Street (the side road by The Curve) saw the most crimes recorded by police in a year.
The research was carried out using data from the Home Office’s police.uk website for each and every road in Slough central, Upton and Chalvey.
From November 2018 until October 2019 – the latest crime stats available, these there the top 10 streets where the most crime was recorded:
• High Street
• Slough Station
• William Street
• Chalvey Road West
• Hartland Close
• Chapel Street
• Windsor Road
• Wexham Road
• Brammas Close
Crimes are categorised into: anti-social behaviour, bike thefts, burglary, criminal damage and arson, drugs, possession of weapons, public order, robbery, shoplifting, theft from a person, vehicle crime, violence and sexual offences, other crime and other theft.
